12 Acres Bed and Breakfast is located north of Port Orford on US 101, on the southern coast of Oregon. It is nestled between the wild Pacific Ocean to the west and the serenity of Garrison Lake to the east. Enjoy the tranquility of 12 acres of natural wooded habitat and trails. The Mile by Mile guide describes Port Orford as a small friendly Port community that feels a lot like California’s Big Sur with its awe-inspiring panoramic vistas and active artistic community. Established in 1851, it’s the oldest platted town sight on the coast and the northern gateway to Americas wild river coast. The dock is the only open-water port on the Oregon Coast and one of six “dolly” ports in the world where recreational and commercial fishing boats are hoisted into and out of the water daily.
Paradise Point Beach is just a short walk down the driveway for whale watching or beachcombing. Bring your binoculars to look for birds that inhabit the woods, marsh and beach. There is a lot to see and do during your stay at 12 Acres B&B; hiking, fishing, biking, golfing, nature walks, bird watching, and visiting Art Galleries.
Enjoy a hearty, fresh cooked breakfast in the dining room or relax with your coffee out on the covered porch.
We look forward to having you as a guest in our home.
